The only time I saw this board was last year in a skwal contest, on the hard snow the board seemed to vibrate a lot, is it good only for powder or you can have a good carve as well?

I was very surprised when I ran out of powder and was forced back onto the trail-THIS BOARD CAN CARVE!!
Even with soft boots I found that I could carve turns no probs, it felt like I was back on the "Easy Jungle-(165)"but with the added comfort of soft boots. WARNING:In powder the 167 is VERY FAST If your riding with non skwalers take a good book with you as your going to have a LONG wait at the bottom of the mountain Favorite boards= TS 167 Powder - 183 X Carve
Not surprised about the vibration- this board is for soft boots ONLY
There are plenty of boards for carving and riding on the trail but to see how the 167 works you need to get in the powder  This board is a refreshing break away from the word champion speed style skwal. On the trail it carves well but isn't great at speed. Hope you can give it a try this season Favorite boards= TS 167 Powder - 183 X Carve
No way except if you ship us some boards from japan, I think there must be only five of them in europe

OH
I think we have about 20 left from last year, Japanese like to stay on the trail  :blink:powder is off limits here in Japan  Shame I think its one of the best boards Thias ever produced I hope it makes a comeback in the future as it adds a much needed dimension to the sport. Re:
Dear James although I will remain an hard-booter...I took interest and filmed something in 2010 that mirrors what you said (in 2003) about the much needed dimension to the skwal discipline...the hidden soft of a skwal, if you like... clearly we just adapted a lagriffe and a soft bindings by rossignol: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGCx8tW5f6I Obi One
