You can find here the advertisement for this board :

<a href='http://skwalzone.org/forums2/index.php?act=ST&f=5&t=446&hl=blanc' target='_blank'>French Topic</a>

I contacted Bertrand today, and he says that the boards should be ready by 15 decembre, he will give us the list of shops where we can find them.

The board price will be around 600 euros and the bindings around 140 euros.

Who will get the serial number 1? GOOOOOO

Hi,
Now that's fantastic news!! It wil keep the skwal spirit up. :D

I just hope they can drop the price a little bit (after all, you get only one ski... ;) )

Does any one know what's the skwal like? Does it exist already? Are there any prototypes around? Has anyone carved it yet? Will there be different stiffness and lenght variation for heavy and light skwallers?

Greetz,
Sam

hi sam,

As for now, we (on skwalzone.org) havent heard form anyone who has seen the X1. We know that the board is being developped since at least last spring. Test have been realized on glacier this winter and the final test will be done soon. As Zarkod said, the first boards should be available for sale in mid december and of course, Skwalzone will keep you posted on the forums. B. Roy, Lacroix's boss (europe) will let us know where we will be able to buy it. Tests, or at least developped comments and detailed pics should be available soon after the official release, but unfortunately it is not likely that we will know a lot before any of us can buy it.

ANd concerning the specs, thes board will be 175 and apparently 140/108/165.

Hope this helps,

pete
