Postby skwal-ger » 26 Aug 2008 15:20

hello,

i´m searching a new skwal, after breaking my old thias.

After a short internetresearch i found this free avaible skwals.
now is the question which one should i take. my old skwal had a smaller sidecut, but i want to have a faster skwal now.

have anyone tried one, two or even all three yet and cann tell me where the difference by riding this skwals is?

Hello, it's an easy choice, the best skwal of the moment are the X-race.
The X-race exist in 183 and 173 cm, after the choice depend of your tall, weight, level.... you need a good level and powerful legs to drive them easely....

The x-race are the fastest one and the best for race but they are expensive.

the monocarver is a good skwal too, more easy to drive than the contest, this 2 models are adapted for carving with speed.

Another model exist: the RS 176, an any groud skwal very interesting and very cheap: 370 euros.

the European skwal association send lots of the skwals wich exist now, an online shop will be disponible soon on this website: http://aes.skwalzone.org

For the moment you can see the description of all the model (but in french) on this website here : http://skwalzone.org/equipment.php

bye

i know that the xraces are good, i testet a 173 last winter. but i have no chance to testride a 183 and i don´t know if it´s more then 600€ worth. A new contest i can get for less then 200€ and even a new monocarver for 300€. im not racing, i just want to have fun.

the infos about the skwal on the matarielsite i already read, but there a only less facts.
the rs isn´t the right choice i think, the sidecut is too small

The Mpride 183 is a very fast board, and on a slope with lot of people that's not the best choise ( for the security ), the 173 is a good compromise

The Xrace183 was more stable.
On a fast ride, the turn was similare, but the Xrace was wonderfull.

Does anyone have any experience comparing it to the Thias 173F?

after the contest is to stiff for me i can get a sk200 (new) very cheap.
is this a good compromise between a xrace 173 and a xrace 183 (which i will buy when i get the money)?

The SK200 is not very good at carving, it is more useful if you want to go straight and fast, the mpride have a much better grip
